Bionix
The Bionix was formed in January 2011, after 3 months of searching up and down Bristol for experienced musicians to complete the line-up. The idea of a rock band which would approach difficult but energetic rock songs from the \"golden age\" of the 90's, but also more modern originals, had been haunting Raluka (vocals) for more than a year by that time. So when the opportunity arose she proposed the... idea to Cheryl (drums) and Neil (bass guitar) and together they decided on what was going to be in the band's playlist. And so the search for the last two members of the band began. Shortly after that, they were joined by Tony (guitar) and, at the beginning of 2011, Dave (keyboards) completed the final line-up.
The Bionix are, probably, the first band in the world to have a professional videoclip launched even before the members met. Oliver Jones, the band's closest collaborator (even if he lives at the other end of the earth, in Australia), through the magic of internet, sent Raluka some of his songs, which she recorded in Bucharest, Romania, her native town.
